UFO Sighting in Lithuania Triggers Rapid Military Response

On June 25, , two police officers on patrol near the Lithuanian border encountered an unidentified flying object, which prompted an immediate response from local authorities. The officers, Jaunius Pozera and Laimis Kraujalis, reported observing a spherical object hovering at an altitude of approximately 20 to 30 meters. This object exhibited a unique behavior, pulsating and alternating in size, while emitting a sound described as resembling an electronic crackle.

Intrigued by the phenomenon, the officers attempted to approach the UFO, moving about 50 meters through the grass before the object ascended and swiftly departed towards Vilnius. The sighting lasted around half an hour, during which the officers remained vigilant. Following the sighting, the Vilnius police were placed on high alert, leading to the deployment of soldiers from the Aras Rapid Reaction Force, along with sniffer dogs and additional police reinforcements to the location.
