Opening summary

The Defense Intelligence Agency's Technology Warning Division (DWO-4), part of the Defense Warning Office under the Directorate for Analysis, produced a series of advanced technology reports in FY 2010 under the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications (AAWSA) Program. Two of those Defense Intelligence Reference Documents (DIRDs) are examined here. The first, dated 10 December 2010 and carrying document control number DIA-08--005, is a technical review of quantum computing and DNA-based (organic molecule) computing, with forecasts for aerospace and space-travel applications over 10-, 20-, and 40-year horizons.

Both documents are marked UNCLASSIFIED//FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY. Both are scientific and technical reference products. Neither reports a UAP incident, a sighting, a crash retrieval, an entity, or an encounter.
