Antigravity as a Propulsion Goal
In March 2010, the Defense Act request, systematically reviews theoretical concepts that could enable the active control of gravity for aerospace propulsion. Its central premise is that gravity imposes a fundamental burden on all aerospace transportation: vehicles must carry vast amounts of propellant to overcome Earth's gravitational pull, with the majority of propulsive energy dedicated solely to counteracting that force.
