AARO's Atmospheric Wakes Resolution and Its Core Finding
On 8 Defense released a case resolution document titled "Atmospheric Wakes," addressing three separate UAP reports that had been flagged by Theater UAV operators. The central conclusion of that resolution is unambiguous: AARO assesses that the UAP reported in these three cases almost certainly were not exhibiting anomalous propulsion or atmospheric wakes. Instead, the observed effect — the apparent wake trailing each object — was the result of a sensor artifact in all three instances.
